• What to Expect When Visiting Trinity

  • Our Service

Sundays at 9:30am at The Community House in Hinsdale, IL

    What Is Sunday Worship Like?

Okay, we admit it, we're a bit eclectic, but we like it that way! We want to hold onto the rich treasures of the past that God has given his church, but we hope to do it in a way that feels alive and meaningful to people today. So that means we practice some things that feel formal and traditional (like creeds and hymns), but we do it with an informal and more contemporary style. People dress fairly casually (you won't normally spot a tie, even on the pastors), and the music is pretty up-tempo, with a blue-grass kind of feel. Take a look at one of our church bulletins to get a better feel for what it's like.

What To Do With My Kids?

If your children are under 3, they can expect a clean nursery and attendants who love kids and will seek to make them feel as safe and comfortable as possible. If they are in first grade or younger, they're invited midway through the service to participate in a "Children's Church" service just for them.

How Long Will The Service Last?

The service lasts a hour and fifteen minutes. Coffee and pastries are served after the service, and we'd love to have you hang around after so that we can get to know you (but of course we understand if you need to leave right away).

  • Our Purpose

To experience and extend the life-changing love of Jesus in our homes, workplaces, and communities

    It's All About Jesus

Our only true comfort in life and in death is that we belong to Jesus, whose death has changed everything. Everything we do must center on Jesus. Our weekly worship is shaped by His gospel. Our teaching focuses on His word. We seek to love each other well because we belong to His body. These convictions have led us to be members of the PCA.

    Experiencing His Life-Changing Love

Jesus accepts us in all of our mess, but he doesn't leave us there. He changes us. We as a church together are pursuing that change process. From our youngest to our oldest we are committed to intentional discipleship. If you join us, our commitment is that you will not remain the same.

    Extending His Life-Changing Love

Jesus is engaged in a worldwide mission to make all things whole, restoring the world back to God. We as a church are participating in that work. Bringing clean water to orphans in Haiti, providing clothes for refugees, and even rebuilding broken marriages all are an expression of Christ's redeeming love.
